Start by selecting a square piece of paper and folding it in half diagonally to create a triangle. Then, fold both corners of the triangle up to the top point to form a diamond shape. Next, fold the bottom corner of the diamond up to meet the top point, creating a smaller triangle. Flip the paper over and repeat the previous step.
Continue by bringing one side of the triangle upwards while flattening it across, forming a square base with two flaps on each side. Lift one flap and fold it downwards at an angle, then repeat on the other side. Fold down one flap to create the head of your crane bird, and gently pull out each wing by tugging on them slightly.
