Paper bird making is a fun craft activity that requires only a few materials. One of the most popular paper birds to make is the swallow. To create your own paper swallow bird, you will need some colored paper, scissors, and glue.
Firstly, take a square piece of paper and fold it diagonally in half to form a triangle. Then fold the two corners at the base upwards to meet at the tip of the triangle. Flip over and repeat on the other side. This will form a diamond shape with two flaps on each side.
Next, fold down one flap from each side of the diamond towards its center line. Fold it in half again so that both flaps are folded right up against each other along this new crease line. Repeat these steps with all four sides until you have formed an origami envelope shape.
