To start off, gather some black construction paper, scissors, glue, and googly eyes. Cut out eight thin strips of paper that are roughly the same size for the spider's legs. Then fold each strip in half to create four pairs of legs. Glue each pair together at their folded ends so that they form an "X" shape.

Next, cut out a small circle from the remaining black paper for the spider's body. Apply glue to the center of the circle and attach all four pairs of legs around it in a star pattern.
